I'm hoping someone can help me out with a request that I have here. Yesterday, I noticved that my oil pan had a couple of small hairline cracks in it. Nothing incredibly major JUST YET, but I'm sure that in time it'll probabaly get worse. So.... I'm hoping someone out there might have an oil pan that I can buy off them. "Hopefully, somewhat cheap." My oil pan has some-sort of Sender unit, smack in the middle of it, on the very bottom.
I rebuild Brake Booster's, so.. if someone wants to possibly trade an Oil Pan for one of my rebuilt "guaranteed" Booster's, I'm all ears. I believe the pan from an early 735 will work as well.
I hope to hear from someone soon.
Thanks A Bunch!

I also had cracks in November. Others on the
forum said use JB Weld so I did. Drain all the
oil and then remove the sensor (3 Bolts). Clean
up the area using Brake Cleaner. I used a Heat
Gun to boil the oil out of the cracks and a Dremel
tool to rough up the surface. Haven't had any
problems since and we've had Zero Temps. The sensor needs some time to fill back up with oil.
The hole must be pretty small so it takes a while
for the warning light to go out.
