I had the same problem. Pain in the ass!! You have to use a stumpy or "short" box wrench on it. I went to sears and bought the whole set of stumpy combination box/open end wrenches 8mm-22mm for like $40. If I remember correctly it was a 14mm. I also used what they call an obstruction wrench to loosen it. It has a crescent like handle w/ box wrenches on both ends of the crescent. These are the only tools you can get on the head of that pesky bolt, and i have a lot of different tools! It also helps to have small girlish like hands.(ha ha) Hope this helps

Any tips on starter removal would be greatly appreciated. Inner bolt appears practically impossible to get at - is best way with a wrench from the back - or a socket from undernead the intake manifold - I can't seem to get it.
