Hello,
Wondering if anyone could help with my 84 733i. The car makes a loud metatllic ticking sound coming from the area of the power steering motor. However, if I press on the brake petal, the sound goes away completly. Also, the sound is effected by touching the cable that routes from the throttle(top of engine) to the black vacuum pump on left strut(speeds up/slows down speed of ticking). Both the power and brake fluid levels are OK. Thanks in advance as this is my daily driver.
