There's also a presure release on the system that can start to go bad. If you have spots of what look like oil under the car but near the drivers side fender or just behind the bumper on that side it could be the valve--for the same reson stated above--to much pressure released and the engine has to work harder to make up for it. Do the rpm's go up as well, even a tiny bit?BTW, I replaced my valve for about 30DM that's about 15 US dollars. NOw the whole sytem works better.
