Looking for ideas on replacing my Metric Wheels on my 86 735i e23. I was curious if anyone knows cross applications between different series of bmw's such as e38's or e34's and so on. I'm looking to pick up something oem if possible but i'm open to other wheel types that follow traditional styles for this car like the mesh wheels. Thanks for your input in advance I am a new user.

As of the end of this past week(Friday),I had sets of;15x7.0"used($250);16x7.5" new($395);and 17x8.5" used ($375).
Also,a set of Breyton Magic E36 17x8.5" rims one year old(cost new $1400+,sale,$895) wheels only, that will fit your car well with hub-centric spacers...I have a set on my e28 535i now.All + S&H.I also have good used tires for some of these as well.
Let me know if any of this helps....
Let me know what you feel is best for your driving style,as I specialize in setting up street/track BMWs.
