Anyone have a preferance in regards to stereo upgrades as far as cassette/cd contoller?

if you want to stick with a teutonic theme, the blaupunkt cd recievers are quite nice and all will fit on your bimmer. I have the honolulu and am quite satisfied. the only complaint i have with it is the skip programming is marginal. If you have a lot of old scatchy cds the blaupunkt will not read them very well and skip often (However it does fine with bumps and shocks and rarely skips as long as you use scratchless cds). Do not buy a kenwood cd deck, had one of those and it worked fine until suddenly quit for apparently no reason. Also have had a Clarion CD reciever. Actually very nice, a good system all around, would recommend to anyone looking for a solid cd reciever for about $200.

thanks, I had been thinking about the blaupunkts, just need to find one, thanks for the info.
