My 84 733i was a specail order car when I bought it. It is on the heavier M suspension with the 3.5 engine--lately I have been running into all sorts of trouble finding parts--I keep getting the 3.2 engine parts and soem of them do not fit--despite telling the people that I need the parts for a 3.5 they insist that it cannot have that engine. My most recent folly is the catalitic converter--the one for the 3.2 is wrong---it has to be the same system that went on the 745(or the 85 735)---any ideas on how to get around these idiots? My other option would be to mail order it calling the car a 735---shipping is exspensive though and a lot of parts never make it overseas.
