The same thing happened w/ my '84 733i. One of the front signal bulb was of the wrong voltage and had a little corrosion. I cleaned the corrosion from the socket and got the proper bulbs with the proper voltage.

Why do the blinkers on my '81 733i blink to fast to count on cold days and only a little slower on hot days? All the bulbs work, front, rear, side rear, and dash. Same problem with the hazard flashers too. If I leave the flashers on for more than a couple of minutes they start to slow down a little bit.
Thank you in advance
George II
