In reading a post not too long ago I noticed a reference to the ground wire between the valve cover and the body. This was in a discussion about hard starting or rough running, and it got me to thinking about my car. When I checked mine, I discovered I had no ground wire, so I installed one. Guess what, the little hesitation and miss that I had been detecting at highway speed went away! Idle was always good, but there was just a little "something" not quite right with its performance under a little load that bothered me. So if yours is suffering from a little "something" not quite right, you might want to see how well grounded you really are.
