85' 745, I have replaced both fuel pumps, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator and battery. Ouch that hurts the wallet. Once the car warms up it will stall. After that it will usually start again and run for a short time then stall. Finally it will not start. Wait 2 to 3 days it will fire up and run fine again until it warms up. Any help would be appreciated.

I suggest that you check the coolant temperature sensor. This is a resistor that changes resistance when it the coolant warms up to normal operating temperature. The change in resistance is sensed at the ECU, which makes the needed adjustments to the timing, fuel injectors, etc. This sensor can be checked if you have a ohm meter and some boiling water.
A replacement sensor is about 15 dollars.

Did you check the cold start injector. If for some reason this did not turn off then you will have a over rich condition and this could cause the engine to stall.

I am not sure about the 745 but in the 735 and the 733 there is a temperature sensor in the air flow meter box which is used to adjust the signal to the ECU depending on air tempature. This could be checked to be sure it is not "turning off" the output siganl to the ECU.

What other comments could you tell us? Did you do any work on the engine before all this started? Replace any parts before this problem started?

Let us know.
