I spent hours diagnosing a fuel pump on a 320i that had voltage at the pump and everywhere else but only actually ran when jumpered directly to the battery. The cause was a glass fuse that had corroded slightly inside the glass. It got voltage but not enough current. I replaced the fuse(should have done that first) So anything in the path to you blower that could have a very weak contact or lowered current carrying capacity could be it.


Thanks for the tip. I had similar thoughts and I am trying to resolve the problem today.
I'll post the results when I get them.
