The ultimate wheel/tire combo for your e32 is 17x8 99/2000 model 5 series sport wheels and 245/45/17 tires. These fit perfect and look better than you can imagine withe the 120mm proper offset. You will need bilstiens and bars after the wheels/tires to take the "boat" out of your e23. It really is increadable but its about 3K to do everything.

Looking for ideas on replacing my Metric Wheels on my 86 735i e23. I was curious if anyone knows cross applications between different series of bmw's such as e38's or e34's and so on. I'm looking to pick up something oem if possible but i'm open to other wheel types that follow traditional styles for this car like the mesh wheels. Thanks for your input in advance I am a new user.
