The car is 16 years old. :)
And the motors do get weak, :)
Most american power windows would not even work any more.:)

Trye this I did this to a friends 735i/1985
First if you are in cold weather it is very normal
do to the coil inside the motor of the window gets damp, and slows things down.
Second I'm in MI and this worked,
I toulk the motors out of the door, toulk them apart and regreased every single little part in the motor, it encreased the speed dramastacly,
also, if your seals on your windows are badly cracked, it will slow it down as well, do to the cracks flip to the sides, and put a force against the window, hope this helps some.
