check for cracks in vaccum lines.
:>

I have a '86 735i which is running rough intermittently. It will start cold and stall, re-start and need the throttle sat on. Once warm it will hold an idle but jump in RPMs. Other times it will start cold and run fine for a few minutes then revert to a rough idle. Plugs were fouled with carbon so she is running very rich. The following has been done: vane air flow sensor, temp sensor, o2 sensor, ignition system, tps, idle switch and fuel pressure...all tested and checked ok. Decent power under throttle. What have we missed here? Leaking injector, computer, gremlin?
TIA for suggestions. Signed...sleepless in Saratoga Springs.
