Hydrolic brake booster leaking power steering fluid, anyone rebuilt/replaced one of these? looks easy but... any tips?
Thanks in advance, GeorgeII

HiI have just replaced the booster and the master cylinder on my 84 533i i belive these to be quite if not exactly the same, I have a 83 733i partes car, similar with the master mounted to the booster by two bolts and the booster mounted by four bolts throught the fire wall there is an o-ring in side the booster that wears hence the leak I replaced mine with a used one just a week ago a little chilly N.E. weather and the leak is gone brakes are fine. The one I removed I will replace the o-ring in for a back up.There are those that claim that this is not rebuildable and others have replaced the o ring with success. On the e-28 board you may want to search the archives under brake boost
