I'll check w/ a dealer asap or I'll just wait till the car is offically mine and I send her away to get resprayed, Polaris Metallic of course aka silver, and I'll paint the black parts black..or go for the dareingness and paint them silver too....oh well..its a hard choice. Thanks for the info!

My '82 733i has some sort of white/gray discoloration on the rear black plactic bumper parts, its on the parts that wrap around the sides and the rear of the car that hold the rear marker lights...its hard to explain what it looks like, but it looks to be some sort of sun fading or some defect but its not salt. I've tried to get it off but have failed many times. Is there any other way to get rid of it with out having to replace the pieces?
