My '82 733i has some sort of white/gray discoloration on the rear black plactic bumper parts, its on the parts that wrap around the sides and the rear of the car that hold the rear marker lights...its hard to explain what it looks like, but it looks to be some sort of sun fading or some defect but its not salt. I've tried to get it off but have failed many times. Is there any other way to get rid of it with out having to replace the pieces?

Thanks,
~James

available at a good auto supply house. They make a black satin bumper/ trim paint that is used in Germany. It duplicates the OEM look perfectly and holds up extremely well. I scuff the surface and then apply two coats sanding in between coats and the results are pleasing.
Try it !

Good Luck,

Tom M in PA
