Most of my scratches and chips end up on top of the hood--where the bra wouldn't help and I echo the opinion that they are butt ugly----

I'd replace the worn out seals as long as they are going to be off the car anyway--and the color change---unless you hate the color I'd not do it--the paint job is already a big one wihtout adding to it.

Wax---I went to the BMW dealer here and they gave me some stuff to take break dust off--works wonders--and some wax and polish--both were in white bottle wioth the BMW rondell on them and only the name of what it was for ont he bottle. But it made th efinish look like glass.

I'm sure BMW in the states has the smae sort of thing.
