Hi and thanks for the complements! I made the claim "supercar" as I might be the biggest speed freak that has ever set foot on an e23 board. The cars you see in the back are Zr1's, Callaways, Modified STS and the TA is THE pace car from 83 (the actual pace car that paced daytona) It has a 430 CID 700HP small block DNE6 speed/D44 and does well over 200MPH as with the callaways and I do this on a regular basis as I take cars to the fort stockton track to test. Yes... I have already topped out the 745.... So far it does what it claims and gets real close to 140. 160 is the goal. I bought the 745 as I know turbos systems quite well as I service and upgrade callaway twin turbos for a select group in the southwest usa. I knew when I studied the car it had some major potential not to mention becoming collectable. My daily car is probably the nicest 735 US 86 model left in existance and is in my collection too so I knew e23s quite well in general less the turbo, so you see my motive for wanting a 745. The performace you can get out of these cars is impressive, but comes with the sacrifice on non-emmissions, leaded gas, and knowing when its too much for the components. Many people get up to 500+HP out of these cars, but as with many high boost applications, its always short lived so 350HP at about .9 bar is a pretty good safe # that will make the car run good and have more power than just about any car in its class (i am hoping). My main concern is with the transmission. I do not know its limits and also do not know how to rebuild it and do not want to learn, so I am trying to find out what it can and cannot do. Any experience with this would be appreciated. (the wipers... its a toss up but they are different so thats why I want them) Thanks again!

That is truly a great example. I just got an executive model but it is going to take some time to get it in that respectable of condition. Nice collection by the way; is that a turbo indy pace car Trans Am I see? Just out of curiosity, before you made the claim that it can't compare to the STS, did you drive the car over 80? Though I haven't tried it, I would not be surprised if the factory-claimed top speed of 140 or so is NOT accurate. And with the Touma work, that car is going to be even more fun I bet. By the way, I do have the headlight cleaning system and to be quite honest with you, I believe that the car looks better without it. The car looks much more elegant and flowing without them I believe. (I remember you wanting to add the system to your car).
