Just a stray comment. My 733i 3.5 six--no modifactions other than it sits on an M suspension, with the autobahn spring/stut system and the no cover air filter--regularly does 120 and up to 125 for extended drives on the autobauhn. I've never pushed it any further though it would go. At 120 I am a 5 on the rpms--

MInes standard shift though oh and it does have a tranny cooler.

Gret car BTW--mines black and looks very much like the 745--US specs so I have a heavyer larger bumper. And I have 200K on mine--insides seen better days. And it will need a re-paint before I return to the states.

Your car reminds me very much of when mine was new. Way to go!
