Okay, that fuse was fine also... but the brake lights are now functioning. Switch at the pedal needed an adjustment and now brake lights work properly.

So, who wants to send me the 'book' on the cruise control? I found the unit next to the battery and note the connector going to the throttle assembly... but what's the black rubber hose with the red stripe leading into the firewall from the unit? ...just the protective cover for wiring to a relay under the interior cover panel, just beneath the steering wheel?
