Please Help: Where to start troubleshooting wipers (archive)

Hi, any help would be appreciated. My wipers just stopped working. The wiper fluid pump still works and fuses are OK so I don’t think it is electrical. The wipers swing free and together so I think the linkage to the motor is disconnected. Where do I find the linkage and motor? Is it under the air intake or behind the dash or somewhere else?
