Help/Electronic Trans Shift Light came on/86 735i (archive)

I have an 84 ETM but it doen't show anything for the ETS dash light.I have 165k miles and the trans has had a complete fluid change in the last 6k miles.The fluid looks and smells good.I haven't sent my CD to Jens yet, but will definetly do it today. I need info ASAP.
