My 84 733i does the same thing. If it sits over night I get the smoke in the morning. Blue-white--mine smells like gas mostly though--I have a continuing fuel injection problem. And the oil thing as well---put a quart in about every 800 miles since it started that. And I get a bit of oil on the air filter. I'm at 200k as well.
