I purchased one of these Manuals for my '84 733i. It is somewhat useful, but I'm not sure if it is worth $135. The $50 for the ETM is definately worth it though. I've found that the combination of the ETM and the Bently E28 Five Series Manual (shares the drivetrain w/ E23) gets me through most repairs. Of course, your mileage may vary...

A number of you have asked, so I'll pass on the info:
Original BMW Workshop Manuals

Not cheap. $135. Fast e-mail response with on-line ordering, although you have to type in what you want in a little box.

Maybe we can get a site and put all the scanned pages there for the lot of us to benefit from. I can't promise fast turn around on the scanning though. I'm writing my Ph.D. thesis at the moment.
