The L7 is a 735i that paid a visit to the leather shop. Dash, doors, console are all covered in leather. Mechanically, it's a 735i like all the others. As usual with a 14 year old car, have it checked out by a reputable BMW mechanic.

If he hates driving, why did he get a BMW? He should have bought a Cadillac (back in '87, those land barges had little in common with today's Seville STS and the like).

P.S. Jens, we did have '87 E23s here, seems like we're always a year behind. My dad was on vacation in Germany and he mailed me an E32 brochure (in German) back in the summer of '87. The dealer wanted to photocopy it so he could show it to his customers.
