Please help! '85 745. I replaced one of the speed/position sensors on the side of trans. and now the car will not crank when attempting to start. I had a stalling problem once the car ran for awhile. I suspected one of these sensors after seeing the plug was so cracked that it barely stayed connected. Would appreciate any input.

buzzing is the extra pressure setting from the
fuel pump, there is a relay on the firewall inside
the engine bay up high it should click on when ignition is on.

sounds to me like the starter solenoid may be sticking, is there any clang noise when you stop the crank position at the switch, like the gear disengaging.
