I didn't hear you say the automatic transmission was rebuilt, only the engine.

All other considerations being equal, If the auto transmission is not fresh, it may be near the end of it's useful life. If it fails and you have to have it rebuilt, you can quickly double the price of your 733. I say this, even though I have 237K on my 4hp22 auto transmission and it feels solid.

These cars are heavy in comparison to all other models and some performance is lost through the automatic.

That said, I would keep my automatic, because it is excellent for both heavy traffic and as a phenomenal cruiser on long trips. 24 MPG highway consistently (1982)
