as some of you know I have a 84 745i that has been badly hit. A friend of mine found a very nice 86 L7 that i will be buying soon. I will (in some time) rebuild the 745i engine and install it into the L7 along with a 5 speed. Now How rare is the 745i highline? Is it safe to say that this car will now be a 745i highline?? any in the US like this??
I will replace all the US parts with the euro parts. (bumpers lights ETC.) anything else I need to know? How hard is the wiring? My goal was always to have Fast , Rare and classy BMW's. I hope this project will be approved by all the finatics. Thanks guys


Hi Ari,
I don't know if American L7 got the separated and power rear seats. As I know,this is bizarely the only option that a Euro Highline needs (a normal one could have them...!).
Be careful with the 5 speed stuf. I've always heard the turbo engine blows it up in less than nothing at all!! I've once wanted to by a 745 and swap my 735 5 speed on it but I finally gave up.
