I did observe something last night and this morning. After the car has set for awhile (hours perhaps) and I turn the key on the led above whatever button that is pressed will VERY briefly light. Then nothing. Turning the key off and on after that does not even get that glimmer.
Thanks,
Randy
Last night the HVAC died. No LEDs, no relay clicking, no blower activity. Not even on defrost mode. One moment it was on, next moment off. Almost as if the fuse blew. The #16 & #17 fuse is good along with the mini 5 amp one near the glovebox. I have 12 volts at the gr/br wire at the blower. Microswitch tested ok via an ohm meter. I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?

Pull off the front cowl cover to get at the blower and check the high speed AC relay mounted to the right side of the right cover. You can swap this with another relay in fuse box to check. Default defrost mode is routed through this relay and if its gone you will have the problem you describe.
Check it out and let us know.
Good Luck,
