No the mounting is not a part,

The resister issue, if you have a junkyard around
see if you can by them used, or at least one,
they should be very cheep, then hook it up,
see if it does anything.
The thumb knop board, I would wait untuill
you tried that.
Gosh this is so hard with out beeing there to see
whats going on.
