I recently purchased a very nice 86. Had a shop replace the brake fluid (among other things) and they commented that it was difficult to bleed the lines. The brake linings are OK but they are "aftermarket." The shop suggested a brake job and using regular German pads might help. I've delt with these people for some time and trust them so will probably do the brake job. I was wondering if the brake lines might just be old and too"flexible." How about stainless braided lines for this car? The body is very nice, it has 86k and I plan on keeping it a while.
