Hi - Question may sound stupid - but after replacing radiator and refilling coolant, I know the cooling system needs to be bled. Does this refer to the small screw on top of thermostat housing? Job was started by friend and left for me to finish. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Laurie,
I just learned another trick to radiator bleeding whilr replacing the radiator on my 3.0si. Remove the thermostat from the housing and drill two small 1/8" holes in the flat part of the flange, just inside the gasket area. Position these holes at the top when you re-install and the system will tend to self bleed as you are running it up to temp. I had a hell of a time bleeding my system until I used this little trick and it worked like a charm. It has been used by racers for years, try it!

Good Luck,
Tom in PA
