Jerry,
I can attest to the rear bumper system being quite simple. Unbolt in the trunk the two 17mm and two 22mm bolts and the whole bumper assembly slides out. From underneath the black plastic transition strip between the bumper and back panel unbolts with 8 or 10 nuts. The side trim pieces are also different, but basically unbolt. The U.S. bumper has shocks that absorb the 5mph bump that attach to the back of the rear lower valence. The euro bumper bolts right up to the same mounting holes. good luck
has anyone out there done a euro bumper conversion on a U.S.
model seven series?
i know about the 3's and 5's and what kind of hassles.
so what hurdles are there for the 7er? early or late models.
thanks, jerry kingman bmw cca# 93056
