84 733 lose power assist to steering when hot (archive)

I have an 733 with 163k. engine runs fine but have power steering problem. Replaced leaking pump, replaced accumulator. If I get stuck in traffic and car idles for a while or even driving into the city, now that the weather is warm, I lose the power assist to steering. Shut it off and let it sit an hour or more and everything works fine again. Any suggestions on where problem might be?
