I ride on 8x16 with 225/50 in front and 9x16 with 245/45 on rear. My 86 735i has absoloutly no problem with them (5 people and a full trunk). I also got H&R sport springs which specially loweres the front of the car. I love the way my car looks/handels with this spring/rim combination...

If I go with 16x7.5 or 8's on my 735, how wide of a tire can I use without rubbing. I want to be able to seat 4 people and turn without any problems. The BMW people and the BMW salvage yards all say 15x7 but I think I can go larger. By the way, how much do you think that 745 would go for on the open market. Looking at that car is making me want to sell my 735 and get a turbo!!
