If I go with 16x7.5 or 8's on my 735, how wide of a tire can I use without rubbing. I want to be able to seat 4 people and turn without any problems. The BMW people and the BMW salvage yards all say 15x7 but I think I can go larger. By the way, how much do you think that 745 would go for on the open market. Looking at that car is making me want to sell my 735 and get a turbo!!

I'm running 16x7 BBS RS on my 733i with 225/50R16 tires and they fit perfectly. No problems with rubbing regardless of load. I'm sure you can go wider, but I can assure you that this combination works perfectly for my car.
