Hey Bimmerfolks,

I switched out Kate's instrument panel with another one I got from a fellow on eBay. Hey, our speedometer works now! Yippee!!!!!! 8-)

Thought I'd fix one or two of those lights that indicate which gear your in while I was at it. However, it looks like these lights (bulbs) are soldered in. Is that correct?

Should I attempt to solder in some replacement bulbs?

What voltage are they (I don't have my parts CD working, yet)?

Where's the best place to buy new bulbs?

Where's the best place to buy a whole new bulb board with the lights already in place?

Thanks, friends. Rick (working on the ole bimmer in the garage today... it feels so good.....)
