Thanks Demet I have already done all of the above. If it were not for the switch changes I don't thinks I could keep it a 3/4 of the gauge.

Switched from a three piece fan to the large nut a few months ago. I think that it sits a little further away from the radiator and maybe the bimetal switch isno kicking in to tightin up the clutch.
