Ngoc,
This sounds an awfull lot like the micro switch on the thumbwheel board oxidizing. There is a detailed posting back a few weeks that details the drilling out of the tiny rivits and running 600 grit sandpaper through the contacts, screwing it back to the board with tiny screws purchased from Radio Shack and off you go. If you need a new one after all that, I have a couple very good working spares. stevecots@aol.com good luck, steveHello all,
MY 86 735i HVAC control panel is dead, I have checked all pins into the thumb wheel board and the push button board for power. This is what I get:
- No power at all into the push button board.
- Pin #16 (red/green) on the thumb wheel board has 6 volt.
Can someone has an ETM help me out? I have checked all fuses and switched the 2 relays at the blowers but does not get anything.
Thanks for all helps,
Ngoc
