More info was requested. I was the former owner and a couple years ago it went to only blowing out the defrost ducts and still does heat wise but on either bi-level or auto AC no air (wind) is coming out anywhere but the blower speed changes with the dial as it should.

When looking back I saw a post from last year where a guy in Florida ripped out some dampers to get AC in the face but then he did not have any defrosters but I wanted to leave the ability to let the dampers go back to defrost this winter.

Getting the factory function back is not as critical as to quickly getting AC for the pregnant wife. He and I just do not have the time to open up the dash if that is required. I have no book so I do not know where to start looking for vacuum problems or others. If someone can help with a quick way to get AC in the face it would be great. Even if AC would come out of the defroster ducts it would a step forward but that is not the case.

Thanks.

After putting some freon it was discovered no air comes out anywhere but the blower is running fine. Is there a simple way one can block open the vents that come out in the face??? This guy's wife is 6 months along expect his first kid so the black car is hot and I would like to help him out here.
