I to can never get enough of that sound! I prefer the deep thud when you close the door, you just know your safe in there........plus it sounds really cool. I've found myself marveling at how well the doors open and close for a 19 year old car by doing the exact same thing you were.....only I did it at my school's parking lot..the mall's lot...my yard...and just about everywhere else!
