Unfortunatly all turbo cars are subject to this and that is why most "old school" turbos are automatics as sticks are just to difficult and slow on these turbos. GNX, TA 745 and all the "fast" turbos of that era are autos. Now you can get overly complex and not faster with sequential, but I draw the line on those.

I wasn't aware that all the "fast" turbos were "automatics"?

What about the 75-79' Porsche 930 turbo ---no automatics that I've ever seen...

Also the 78-85' Alpina B7's --300 hp

Also what about the Dinan turbos?? almost 500hp and most (if not all) were sticks.....
