Hello Tom & 745 crew,
I caught this thread a little late but I installed a 265 5 speed on my 745 a while ago and I also installed a Blow Off valve. The Blow Off valve dumps the pressure into the intake of your turbo inbetween shifts ( when you back off the trottle) and keeps the turbo spooled. It also prolongs turbo life because when you back off the thottle there is a pressure surge between the thottle plate and the turbo that eventually damages the impeller fins. Since I plumed it so it would dump the air betwwen the turbo and the airflow meter the injection doesn't care and there is no big ball of fire out your exhaust.
Would you guys be interested in buying this as a kit? What I do is tig weld a fitting on the pipe after the IC and make a custom tig welded stainless fitting to put the air back in the bellow after the AFM. I use a Bosch BOV.

is there a correction that can be made so the 745i becomes more suitable for a 5-speed swap? any change in turbo or electronics? anyone like their stock car with a 5-speed? i've got the itch....
