They are on the driver front and passenger rear pads. When the wear is sufficient, they ground to the disk. I bought front pads that didn't have sensors ( I didn't know ant better)- I carefully taped the sesnor wire out of the way. If someone did the same for your car and didn't prevent the wires from grounding, this could cause your problem.


My brake sensor lights are on-the sensors themselves were replaced,and the pads and rotors are all new. How do I get the stupid light to go out? I also have the washer fluid light on and the coolant light on but there is no problem....short of pulling out the bulbs where do I go from here? Thanks
