Sounds like a fun trip. Kate and I have visited Munich a few times over the years and always enjoyed the town. Good sausages, good beer. Were surprised, though, driving a circuitous route from Venice north through Salzburg to Munich, when we suddenly encountered a snow storm in the Bavarian Alps... in the middle of July! You never know when unusual weather will occur anywhere in the world. Drive safely, friend. Have a great time. Keep us posted. Rick
