745i Removal of Lambda Control Box (archive)

hello all,

first, THIS LIST IS OUTSTANDING!!! you guys are great, i am very impressed with the amount of info on the 745i here. my previous questions have been answered very quickly...

currently i have a few questions as i am "sorting out" my 84 745i.

1. the aux fan and the turbo fan do not work. are they related?

2. i have attempted to remove the lambda box from the passenger kick panel. there are 4 wires, 12v, ground, o2 sensor, 1 one that connects to the brown/red of the motronic connector. i was hoping to "reconnect" the cut brown/red, but on the motronic side there is no brown/red. my quess is that during the install they removed the actual pin and wire from the motronic side. i have obtained a pin from another bmw but i have no idea where it goes. can anyone tell me the pin # to reinstall this?
