I signed the petition. Who wants to watch cars that only go in one direction driven by people who couldn't handle a Formula 1 car? Besides, the Hot Wheels cars are so unsafe, drivers have been known to not walk away from head on collisions.

I signed also. Truth be told, even though I couldn't care less for NASCAR (I cannot even begin to imagine spending a couple of hours watching cars go to the left in an oval track), I still would like to see what NASCAR drivers could do in a "real" track. Who knows, maybe if the NASCAR followers saw their heroes racing other types of cars on tracks that don't just involve sticking a Club on your steering wheel to keep it pointed slightly to the left, we might start seeing more diversity on regular television.
