I need some info/diagram for the cam oiler bar. I have a cam that has three worn lobes from lack of oil and would like to prolong what life is left for the cam by making sure that the proper amount of oil is getting to all of it. I have searched the archives and from what I gather, the bolts (banjo bolts??) holding the oiler bar in place either become loose over time and oil escapes or are overtightened cutting circulation off.

Any suggestions as what to look and fix for would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Russ

The oiler bar has to be mounted in the right direction, or you will not get sufficient oil to the cam. There is an arrow on the bar itself. Also,
if you have a Bentley manual, it shows you how to mount it.
