HVAC loses power (archive)

I just fixed all my vacum leaks and my A/C is blowing cold air again. Now if it would only keep going! After a 1/2 hour or so the whole system shuts down (except for defrost) as if someone pulled a switch, After it sits awhile it will work again as normal. I am stumped.
